The "Green Space" project is in operation at NIU!
On November 2 of this year, at a videoconference meeting held by the head of our state, it was decided to implement the nationwide "Green Space" project, and within the framework of this project, to plant 200 million trees and shrubs per year.
Navoi Innovation University also contributed to this good cause. Under the leadership of Rector J. Mavlonov, professors, staff, and students of the university planted 300 ornamental and fruit trees on the university's territory as part of this project.
The trees were selected based on the climatic conditions of the region, taking into account the creation of gardens and landscaping. At the same time, it was determined that attention should be paid to the care of the trees planted annually in the fall and spring months, as well as their future fate.
As the head of our state noted, the national project "Green Space" is not a one-year event. "By preserving land and water resources, the ecological system, and planting trees and creating gardens, we show love and attention to nature so that the next generation can live in a decent natural environment, and future generations will also live in decent ecological conditions.
