An open lesson on the subject of "Russian language" was held for students of the 1st year, 1st group (full-time education) of the English language and literature department of Navoi Innovation University on the topic "General concepts about speech styles".The lesson was conducted by Shodiyeva Iroda Sadullayevna, a teacher of the Department of Philology and Language Teaching.
The main goal of the lesson was to help students gain an understanding of speech styles in the Russian language, study the specific features of each style, and master the choice of the correct speech style in different situations.
During the lesson, students analyzed I.A. Krylov's fable "The Crow and the Fox" in an artistic manner. They had the opportunity to understand artistic expressions, the elegance of language and literary norms by reading or acting out a fable.
The groups tried to read the part allocated to them in an artistic style and vividly convey the thoughts of the characters. In the final part of the lesson, the students consolidated their knowledge through the “Squid Game”.
The use of game methods increased the attention of the students and helped them to better understand different speech styles. The open lesson was interesting and effective for the students, further enriching their knowledge of the Russian language.
