An open lesson on the subject of
“Literary Studies” was organized
For the 3rd year English language students of the Department of “Philology and Language Teaching” of Navoi Innovation University, 5-6th group (part-time education), an open lesson on the subject of “Literary Studies” was organized by Guloma Nargiza Sa’dullayevna, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, PhD, on the topic “Form and Content in a Work of Art. Time and Space. Plot and Conflict”.
During the lesson, information was provided on the concepts of form and content in literary studies, the unity of form and content in a work of art, the conditionality of the concepts of “Form of a Work of Art” and “Content of a Work of Art”.
It was also explained on the basis of rare examples of Uzbek literature that the correspondence of content to form and form to content is an important condition for art. During the lesson, students gained knowledge about the plot and its types, plot components, as well as the role and poetic function of the plot in a work of art.
The open lesson was organized on the basis of innovative technologies using the methods of “SWOT analysis”, “FSMU”, “Assessment”, “Imagination and thinking”, “Wheel of ideas”, and student activity was increased. The topic was approached in depth through discussions and questions and answers.
