Trip to Samarkand: students' acquaintance
with national values
Tutors from the Department of Philology and Language Teaching and the Department of Social and Humanities of Navoi Innovation University organized an excursion and trip to the historical sites of the city of Samarkand for university students to show them historical monuments related to national values, as well as places reflecting national traditions and values.
During the trip, the students got to know the rich history of beautiful Samarkand. They learned about the great scientists who grew up in this city.
In particular, they visited the mausoleum of the great commander Amir Temur, the observatory of scholar Mirzo Ulugbek, the "Hazrati Khizr" shrine, where our first president Islam Karimov, the founder of Uzbekistan's independence, is buried, and the famous Registan Square.
