Speaking Club: Mobile Phones - Benefits or Harm?
A debate on the topic “Benefits and Drawbacks of Using Mobile Phones” was organized within the framework of the Speaking Club, which operates in the English language department of the Department of Philology and Language Teaching of Navoi Innovation University.
During the debate, students expressed different points of view on the benefits and disadvantages of mobile phones. In the process, they learned new words and phrases and were able to increase their language skills by using English terms.
Expressing their opinion about mobile phones, each student expressed their point of view with substantiated arguments. This served to develop logical thinking and sound speech skills.
By participating in the debate, students expressed their opinions freely and confidently. As a result, their social activity and freedom of speech increased.
