• The head of the department ensures the execution of contracts for training on a fee-based contract basis, keeps records of funds received from fee-based training;

• Carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Board of the Center for Professional Education, orders of the Tashkent State Law University, the University Charter, resolutions of the University Council, orders of the Rector of the University, as well as this Regulation.

• The head of the department reports directly to the Vice-Rector for Financial and Economic Work.

The following are the main responsibilities of the head of the department:

• Ensuring the conclusion of bilateral or trilateral agreements (hereinafter referred to as agreements) for training on a fee-based basis;

• Monitoring timely payment of contracts and keeping records of funds received;

To implement the tasks assigned to him/her, the Head of the Department performs the following functions:

• a) ensuring the conclusion of contracts;

• Registration of contracts with students recommended for enrollment on a fee-based contract basis and admitted to classes, as well as transferred from one course to another and reinstated;

• Registration of contracts with foreign citizens accepted for training, in the established form and control over the timely payment of tuition fees;

• Acceptance and maintenance of documents on the implementation of contract payments by students through the dean's offices;

• Conducting explanatory work among individuals and representatives of legal entities on the terms of contracts concluded with students and the procedure for making payments;

• b) control over the timely implementation of payments under contracts and accounting of funds received:

• Providing information to the dean's offices on the implementation of payments under contracts;

• Timely preparation of reports on funds received for fee-based contract education;

• Submitting to the university accounting department, within the established deadlines, information on receipts for fee-based education;

• Reviewing applications from individuals and legal entities on matters of fee-based education and making proposals to the vice-rector for financial and economic work;

• Regularly providing analytical data on funds received for fee-based education to the vice-rector for financial and economic work.

• The head of the department ensures the fulfillment of the tasks assigned to the department by decisions of the University Council and orders of the rector;

• Timely and efficiently fulfilling the tasks set by the university management;

• Ensure high efficiency in all areas of its activities and actively participate in university events;

• Consider appeals from individuals and legal entities within the limits of its authority;

• Observe labor and executive discipline, job responsibilities, ensure the fulfillment of annual work plans;

• Treat university property and preserve it as if it were his own;

• Compliance with internal rules and standards of conduct at the university.

• The head of the marketing department may also be assigned other duties in accordance with the law.
