The Press Service and Public Relations is an independent structural unit of the University and reports directly to the Director General.
• The Press Service and Public Relations in its activities is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the openness of the activities of state authorities and administration", other laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as this Regulation.
• Close interaction with the relevant services of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, structural divisions of the University, other state and non-governmental organizations;
• Participate in the formation and implementation of the information policy determined in accordance with modern requirements by the information service of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the university management;
• Ensuring effective and practical interaction with the information service of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the information services of state and public organizations to implement a unified state policy in the field of informatization;
• Provide the population with objective, high-quality and timely information about the activities of the University and its regulatory documents in this area;
• Cooperate with the media, form a circle of journalists who work in constant cooperation, distribute information messages, organize public events at the University;
• Promptly post and promptly update information on the official website of the University, develop web resources on the Internet, including social and mobile networks;
• Together with the information service of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and authorized employees of the University divisions, prepare news, information materials, commentaries and information and analytical materials for distribution in domestic and foreign media;
• Analyzes the state of public opinion and the position of the media regarding the activities of the University and provides information about them to the Rector of the University;
•Creating and maintaining a database of text, photo, audio and video materials in the area of the University's activities.
•Request, in the prescribed manner, from the University's departments information necessary for the performance of the tasks and functions of the press service and PR service;
•Participate in University meetings, conferences and other events;
•Involve, in agreement with the Rector of the University, employees of the University's departments, as well as specialists and qualified experts from other organizations, to perform the tasks assigned to him;
•Representing the University on behalf of the Press and Public Relations Service at events of national and international importance in government bodies on behalf of the management;
•Submit proposals for improving the University's information policy and draft regulatory documents on the activities of the press secretary to the management for consideration;
•Excellent knowledge in the field of information and communication technologies;
•Comply with the requirements of the University's internal rules, the Code of Conduct and the dress code;
